GREEK TRAGEDY

This was taken in July of 2010 when Greece was still in the throws of the financial crisis. In the village of Pyrgi on the island of Chios, I was walking past one of the narrow streets and saw this older woman, a Ya-Ya or Grandmother. With all the problems in Greece she seemed so sad and tragic. Taken early morning with my Canon 7D.
